My S7 will Not do File transfer to my windows 10 PC. USB Device not supported error. Can this be fixed?
Have you tried a different USB cable? Have you tried a different USB port? Have you tried turning off the phone and attempting to connect again? I'm assuming you've been able to transfer files before, or not?
Hi JOEANY, tikibar1 has pointed out some good suggestions with the iPhone not being recognized via the USB port. Is this something that has been a persistent problem as mentioned?
Windows 10 has been the best operating system with working with smartphones compared to the earlier operating systems. Sometimes when plugging an iPhone into a USB port, before starting the computer, and then starting the computer you'll find that the iPhone doesn't get recognized. Because the operating system wasn't fully loaded along with the drivers before hand.
Did you install the drivers? Did you try using Samsungs own usb cable? Need more information to know what's going on
The phone in question is a Samsung Galaxy S7....rather than an iPhone.
HI dexman, yup you're right it is. Had just read the opening bold capture.
I'm looking by s7 edge
I've downloaded the driver from Samsung, still no good

JOEANY-
It's certainly important being able to transfer files over to your computer and I'm here to assist. tikibar1 asked good questions to get to the root cause. When did this issue begin? Have you tried a different USB cable/USB port? Have you tried rebooting your phone and computer as well? Please keep us posted.
