Zoomed pictures distorted on Moto Z Force

This is a software update induced issue since April. I've had the phone replaced twice. I sent picture to the last tech - I know that replacing the phone won't fix this issue. When taking a picture from a zoom it's pixelated - it looks like a caricature drawing. This never happened before with ANY phone I've had.

I worked with Motorola (Lenovo) and they think that nothing is different. This is not acceptable. It's definitely different. I took pictures without any 3rd party apps on the phone. I took zoomed pictures in safe mode - all poor quality

If you noticed that this started happening due to a software update, we would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer to submit the feedback, and make sure they get this issue resolved in the following software update.
