My Message+ app used to give a notification sound WHENEVER I got a twxt but recently it stopped giving a sound if I have the conversation open when the text comes in. How do I set to to ALWAYS give a sound wether or not the conversation is open?
I understand the importance of making sure you are able to hear the sound notification when receiving a text. Let's work to get to the bottom of this. What make and model device are you having issues with? What happens when you receive a text?

I'm having the same problem if I'm allowed to add to this conversation.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. If I leave a conversation up and that person replies to my text, there is no sound. Mine started happening recently as well.
