Will you be able to use the oneplus 7 pro on Verizon/ buy the oneplus 7 pro and use it on Verizon.
It's supposedly compatible according to various news articles, but it's not on the Certified Androids list yet.
Certified Unlocked Android Smartphones
Good afternoon to you! At present, we don't have information to share with you about Verizon offering the OnePlus 7 Pro device to our customers. However, we'd like to keep you in the loop about our latest products and services by registering to receive email alerts at https://forms.verizonwireless.com/dgf/optin/2012/08282012_general_optin/. We also offer an option to see if a non-Verizon device is compatible with our network by viewing the Device ID/IMEI numbers from the device and visiting our website at https://www.verizonwireless.com/onedp/byod#/. I hope this information is helpful. - RobertC_VZW

I’m holding out a bit longer, but also am curious about this phone. My favorite reviewer has all good stuff to say. Likes it better than any other phone he’s tried. The 6t did work well, although Wifi calling did not enable on prepaid.
I currently have the OnePlus 7 Pro on Verizon. A few things to note.
1. No wifi calling a available.
2. You can not use Verizon's number share feature. It's not available/compatible. (Found out the hard way trying to use number share with my Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE 46mm.)
3. Make sure you call Verizon and request it be activated/partitioned as a CDMA-Less device in order to get sms and visual voicemail to work.
Hey thanks for the info. Verizon can't seem to enable it for my device, they're having issues seeing the device info on their end in order to enable it (Ccid I believe). What is the model # that worked for you? Thank you.
Welp I just gave up. I switched back to my iPhone XS Max 🤷🏻♂️.
We want to help you as much as possible, Etsyal1e2r3. I’ve sent you a Private Note to continue working with you there.

I activated both a Oneplus 7 pro and a Oneplus 6T using the Verizon online tool. Both are working perfectly, I did not have to use customer service at all. The only feature I miss is not having WiFi calling but both phones are great otherwise. Both are flagship performance at a fraction of the price of a comparable iPhone, Pixel or S9. I am really please with the phones after 1 month of ownership.
I’m disappointed the 7 pro and 7 are not whitelisted by Verizon. 6t is working great. I guess this is how to keep me from buying new phones 😆.
However, I don’t usually keep Phones more than 1 year, so I would like some options pretty soon.
So Verizon puts the OnePlus 7 Pro one thier web

But I try to activate and the Add Own Device page claims it is unsupported.
Talk about frustrating.
Sorry to learn you are having a problem with the phone activation. This is our link to check and make sure the phone will work on our network:https://www.verizonwireless.com/onedp/byod#/deviceType Open the link and select the appropriate options and hit next.

But they haven’t updated the list of approved devices to include the 7 or 7 pro.

Come on Verizon. 🤨.
I just bought one plus 7pro. The phone has dual sim . It seems Verizon sim fits only on the Sim 2 slot . It better to go to the Verizon store . Get a fresh sim card . The Sim is free I did not get charged for a new sim. Do not ask rep to add cdma less on the device . This will not work . Ask the rep to go through Verizon troubleshooting steps listed for one plus pro device . Apparently their is code listed hd calls that has to enabled in the device . Once that was done . Everything worked no dropped calls . I could txt ,call and do everything.
mama23dogs,
You are right to want an updated list, and I am happy to report that we do indeed have one.
The prior discussion post you linked to was accurate as of it's original posting, but we recommend using this link for review of supported unlocked devices: http://spr.ly/66041DK9s
I hope this helps.

Are you still recommend or have any other tips of using one plus 7 pro on Verizon..? I don't use wifi calling much
I just got off the phone with tier 2 support and he tried to get it to work but no luck. He said he fired off the session in an email up the chain. Don't expect anything though, he said he was looking at this phone but needed wifi-calling himself, so he hasn't gotten one.
