I am putting this on every forum that I can find recommending that everyone that owns a Samsung Fascinate Galaxy S i500 phone contact their states attorneys general and file a consumer complaint form for misrepresentation of the product due to not receiving 2.2 froyo update as promised when phones were purchased which has now led to countless issues. Not to mention they are still selling these phones and still misrepresenting the fact that the froyo 2.2 update is either already installed on the phone or will be any day now which for myself has been since September. I was promised from my 30 days (which now apparently is only 14 days) and coincidentally on that 31st day I was no longer able to exchange or replace what I would now consider a{word filter avoidance}
However, I did speak with a customer service representative tonight who is going to help me get a new phone due to my extreme aggravation with not only no 2.2 froyo upgrade software but the other numerous issues that this phone has had non stop since day freakin one. I did contact Samsung directly to discuss this ridiculous situation and they then told me to go back to Verizon and they were the ones who should be helping me with this situation not Samsung. Such winners.
One last thing I have to say is that the people (not all of the people) but most of them that I have encountered in the actual Verizon stores have said nothing less than it sucks to be you and you'll just have to wait or of course you always have that option of adding (which mean buying another phone) line to your plan, of course that would be their suggestion because its more money for them. WHAT A FREAKIN SHOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
