I keep deleting a friend's work number from my Samsung s7. I save and the number is still there. How do I get rid of it?
if you're deleting on the phone & the number is still listed in contacts that sync to the phone, it comes back.
delete at the source, be it google contacts or wherever sync is tied to.
We understand your concern and want to ensure your friend's number is correctly updated. What tool do you use to backup your contacts? Is this issue occurring with any of your other contacts?
