Gingerbread on Droid

Since there are no hard minimum requirements for Gingerbread, you would have to think the Droid 1 could be eligible for the update. Or even if Gingerbread requires a 1GHz processor, how could the G2 not be included?

of course there are hardware requirements. there ALWAYS are.

sure the DROID 1 can run gingerbread.

I have my DROID 1 running @ 1.25ghz. Stock its 550mhz.

Would Verizon release it for DROID 1? probably not...

Would you put windows 7 on a celeron cpu that was running windows XP. probably not, unless you made custom modifications, [Edited to comply with Terms of Service] however this isnt the forum
