Droid X Text Problem

When i turn off my droid X and then turn it back on the last text from almost every text conversation on my phone is RE sent out. has anyone else had this happen is there any fixes? i am planing on bringing it down to the store and making them fix it but i dont have a lot of time so if anyone knows a quick fix let me know. Please let me know what you guys think because it is **bleep** me off.

Don't know if this is what you are experiencing as I've never encountered this problem, but I was about to post this when I saw yours.

Check that out, basically it says you may need to use a third party app from the market. Just make sure to go into your default app settings and disable notifications. Hope it helps, seems like a real PITA.

That issue was a known issue in 2.1 basically, 2.2 had other issues with sms app but as far as I know of all issues has been resolved on this subject. May I ask what versions of the OS are you using, have you updated to the 2.2.1 update yet?
