Help! I just got my first smart phone, Droid Incredible last night so this is all new to me. My question is when it is just idle in the screen locked mode is there a way that I can get a sound alert for a new message?
You should still receive tones for any alert if the phone is in the locked mode. Are you using the stock messaging program or another such as Handcent?
