Is the unlocked Huawei Pro P30 usable in the US?

I want this phone, but I don't want to buy it if Verizon networks don't support it. I can't find a current definitive answer... only answers that are 8 months old and still iffy.

I recently purchased 2. One expecting to use with boost mobile and one to use with Verizon. The IMEI comes back as not valid. Therefore not compatible for either carrier.
