Why does my Droid always give me the error message that the android system had to close unexpectedly. Force close!
I would try pulling hte battery while the device is on and wait a minute then reinstal and power up.
Otherwise you may need to do a master reset.
Also, you may want to delete your phone number from the device description on this forum...we all can see it.
