Verizon email available for MiFi??

I "thought" since I am getting internet access thru my Verizon MiFi I could use Verizon.net for my email service. I tried to sign up, but the system doesn't accept my WiFi "phone number".

Am I doing something wrong or does WiFi nor qualify to use verizon.net??

Looking to e-mail service, tired of the web-based services.

Verizon doesn't have email service. You have to use gmail or some other service.

Actually, Verizon DOES have email service, but only for dialup, DSL and FiOS customers. It does not include wireless service, which is a different business.
