Why Verizon has an Incredibly slow data speed ?

I switched from ATT to verizone and it was a big mistake!! Verizon's data is aweful!!!

My speedtest from both the app and also Google shows 5mgbs download and 0.1 mgbps upload!!!! I used to have 60 mgbs upload and 15 mgbps upload with att. I tried different times of the day, no luck. I even spent more than several hours talking with agents and nothing! The brilliant solution of the agents was to reset and power on and off my phone

I have put up with very slow data speeds on all three of my devices mainly because most of the time we have WIFI access. However whenever we are out and about, the data speeds are incredibly slow. I just tested it now and it is consistently 0.1 MBPS for downloading. I gave up on the upload test. It has been this way for months. It seems like this happened when I switched all of our plans to have unlimited data. What can be done to resolve this?

Wow! I'm brand new and shocked at how terrible and slow! Good god. Glad i got the $25 phone and the cheapest plan. There's NO WAY i would pay $5 a month for this trash. Adios verizon. That was a horrible experiment.

Weird I have always had fast data speeds with verizon, t-mobile not so much. Before the pandemic traveled all over and no speed issues. Worked awesome at every port in Alaska.

The cheapest plan also has the lowest priority of all the postpaid plans. The prepaid plans are even lower on the prioritization list than the postpaid plans.
