I can call out and send and receive text messages, but I cannot receive calls.

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 that I have had since 2018. Today, on July 1 2020, I suddenly stopped receiving calls and now I am unable to Receive calls for some odd reason. I am not able to receive important phone calls and its ruining my immediate future plans. I am beginning to suspect that this is a scheduled development since I paid off my phone. Please help me and allay this suspicion. I have been with Verizon for 3 years and i do not feel like switching carriers.
