My company is wanting to purchase a pre paid smart phone from somewhere like TracPhone (etc), but we want to be able to bring it over to our existing Verizon account in a year or two. Is there any way to know if a pre paid phone will be compatible with Verizon BEFORE we purchase the phone? I know you can use the device ID on you already own to check compatibility, but this is more of a hypothetical question.
Would there be anything to look for with a pre paid smart phone that would make it compatible?
