Text message froze up

Well, I am just about to scream. Has anyone else experienced this? I opened it up and it was a black screen. I tried to hit home, nothing happened. then I got the FC message. So I selected "wait", then nothing. so I went to home and back, still black screen, but no FC message. Finally after waiting about 5 minutes I go back, and ALL my text messages are gone!

Any suggestions on why this happened?

My update came through yesterday, you think that had anything to do with it?

Should I go to Verizon?

If you lost all your texts, maybe, just maybe Verizon may have them. But in the meantime.
Pull the battery out and leave it out and leave it out for a good 30 minutes and reinstall. If you still have problems post again.

Are you running Advanced Task Killer on your device that has been known to delete text messages? Third party apps such as Anti-Virus or Stock Messaging can also delete text messages out of your inbox.
