What happened to the "lock a message" option in the text messaging. On the original Droid, you could delete an entire thread but keep some of the messages by locking them.

The option may not be available on the new Droid X. Check the messaging settings or whatever the place lock was on the old phone. If you still do not see it, maybe there is an app available in the market that has that feature you are wanting
