Network Trouble

I had to factory format my droid x today due to the phone freezing. Since then when I jump on to the market or anything there are times where I get the "network connection error" message. Is there a setting I need to double check or change? I also can not turn the security option off that has you drag your finger across the screen to unlock the phone to the home page. I hate that I had to format this phone. ANy help would be great.

You really didn't have to do a factory reset when your Droid froze. Simply remove the battery for a few seconds and then pop it back in. This way, you don't lose everything. As for the other problems you seem to be having, Try removing the battery for a few seconds and then re-install it. As for trying to remove the lock that you have to swipe to open up the homepage, there are some apps on the market that takes care of that problem. I forget the names of them, but if you go into market and then do a search on locks, or something like that, I'm sure you'll find a few. As far as removing the lock, can't be done.
