Sync Problem with Contacts

I am having problems syncing new contacts either placed on my phone or entered into my Gmail account. In either case, they do not update. I have forced the sync process on my Incredible ( Settings > Accounts & sync > Google > Sync all ) without success. Anyone else having this problem?

my contacts are for whatever reason, not syncing up with my phone calls and text messages.

my nephew sent me a text and it said it was from the eye dr. LOL

I understand your frustration with the contacts not syncing on your Incredible. What you will want to do is to do a hard reset on your phone and once the process has been completed you will then set up your Gmail account again at which the contacts should start to auto sync afterwards. Here are the steps for a hard reset:

From the home screen, select the applications tab (located in the lower-left)

Select Settings.

Select SD & phone storage.

Select Factory data reset.

Select the reset option.

-Reset phone

Resets the phone

-Reset phone & Internal storage

Resets the phone and the internal storage

Select Erase Everything
