A 3G CDMA only phone can't be updated to work the 4G LTE network. You need to replace it with a compatible phone.

Nope! The world won't let us use our wonderful, functional, light and compact old Gusto 3 anymore! We have to buy bigger fatter longer chunkier e-junk that sits in your pocket like an 18 oz sirloin steak sits in your duodenum.

As far as I can determine, the ANS F30 is the smallest flip phone that will work on Verizon once the 4G change is complete.
