Phone to phone game play?

Are there games available that can be played simultaneously between two phones? For example, my wife and I both have Droid X and would like to be able to play games together at the same time, like a game of scrabble, checkers, chess etc. Is this possible? Using Bluetooth or Wifi? Are there only certain games that can do this?

I believe only certain games do that. Like have the ability to play with each other. A couple of games I know that you can play against each phone & they are:

 

• What the Doodle!?!
• Battle Ship
• Carrom3D (pool)
