How to delete contact history

I have had my Dx for about 2 months and have notised that all my calls are stored in my contact history. Cant seem to find a way to delete them. Does anyone know how to delete all of the contact history? and does it take up memory ? I am still runing on 2.1

When you hit the recent tab it shows all the calls. I assume you want to clear this list, correct? If so, when you tap the recent tab and you see all the calls you have made and want to clear this list while it is open just press the menu key (lower left) and it will pop up the window to clear.

No. I know how to delete recent tab list. I am referring to the contacts history. From the main menu hit the contacts icon in the bottom right. And right swipe to contacts history. Can anyone help me ??

if you are still running 2.1, you are unable to delete your contact history, the updated 2.2 gives you that option though.
