Facebook not accessing Google Photos on Pixel 6 Pro

For some reason when trying to post a photo on Facebook, only a fraction of your phones' photos ("Gallery") are available. A short while ago this was not the case, as you were able to chose from all the Google Photos on your device. You may post the other way around (Google photos to Facebook) but not choose Google photos FROM Facebook. Any suggestions? Got nowhere with Google or Facebook. Thanks!

Good morning, gmills1223. As a consumer and a Facebook user, I sincerely understand your concerns about uploading photos. Since this issue is with Facebook specifically and this a third-party app that we do not have any control of, our troubleshooting options are limited to deleting the application and installing it again. Please do this and test. I recommend that you delete the Facebook app, then power the device off for 2 full minutes to clear any temp files, then power on and install the app again.

Did all that and more, still does not work.

At least you gave me a reply, which is more than I can say for the fine folks at Facebook (inserted sarcasm).
