Just got the Droid X and I love the phone. The only thing that I've noticed is the battery life is terrible. I cant go a full day without it dying or close to dying. I had to switch to battery saver mode. anyone else have this problem?
didnt have that problem when i bought mine. on a full charge and with constant use, my battery can last up to 47 hours. you might a "faulty" battery. Just pick up a new one.
Staying full on Internet, I get automatic low battery message after about 3 hours and have to recharge.
I don't think there is an extend battery yet for the Droid X. I suggest getting that when it is available. That should really extend the battery life. Second tip would be to get the app called Power Manager Full for just 99 cents.That app should extend the battery life. I also mentioned a few more tips from a yahoo article in THIS thread if you are interested.
You also have to kill APPS that are constantly running in the background.
Download an app called "TaskPanel" (just as it's spelled and written). It's a FREE app that kills your background apps and allows your phone to run smoothly than slowly thus more battery life.
