"Copy Messsage" Mispelled Sub Option

Does anyone know of the way to resolve a OS typo???

1. When I go to my text, and hold down the screen all the sub option are spelled correctly except for "copy messsage"! Yes it literally is spelled with three "sss"

2. Went to store had a hard reset, even after the official upgrade to 2.2 the issue still exist!

Working in the programming world this is clearly a code error and Motorolas QA team needs to get it together.

Apparently all the in house recommendations didn't work, and the customer service line recommendations didn't work. So before I have to wait on a back order to get delivered, I want to know has anyone had this issue resolved and how. Apparently searching the web I'm not the only one.

OooK? I am not really sure what you are tring to find a solution for, the error on the text you can not fix, maybe someone can resolve that{edit for TOS violation}

Now as for you having to Hard Reset, you really never explained the reason you had to reset you device. More information may be helpful.... I have worked through all my bugs with the upgrade and I am happy now, give more info and I will try to help.

I wonder why you would "wait on a back order to get delivered" because there is a mispelling? Does the phone not function as intended because of it?

Plus, why would a hard reset change the spelling of a word? Also, who would have had the issue resolved?

My phone is on the charger so I havent looked for the mispelled word but I imagine if it is wrong on yours its wrong everywhere.

Just checked and it's misspelled on mine too. Doesn't bother me.... if this thread hadn't brought it up, I'd most likely have not ever noticed it.

If the Droid X ever gets another upgrade, I'm sure it'll be corrected then.... if not... well, there are lots more important things in life to be concerned about.

Ok so I read the post correctly, I just knew I must had missed something. I agree with other post, why would you send phone back for a replacement for something like that, the replacement device will have the same software so it will have the same error. Proves that Verizon isnt suppling customer service, all other carriers would have laughed.
