Can’t call or text my mom or dad but yet they can text and call me

My mom and dad can call and text my iPhone 13 Pro, but I cannot text back their iPhones. I have called apple and Verizon, still no answers. Verizon opened up a case on it but I have not heard anything yet. I am not having to text them on my iPad to get them to call me if I need them and it is already getting old. I have reset all of our settings, done literally everything apple and Verizon told me to do to fix it and still nothing. Does anyone know what else I can try to resolve this?

We are so sad to learn what you are experiencing on your iPhone 13 Pro, saminester15. We always want to help you in any way we can, but please keep in mind that messaging other iPhones would use Apple's iMessage services, which is not related to our services.

When you contacted Apple did they help you reset and re-activate your iMessage services with them? Also, when you message them from your iPad are you using the same Apple account or a different one?

Hi Steven,

it’s not just iMessage, I cannot call them either. Apple reset everything and told me it was a carrier issue. I then contacted Verizon and they too said it was a carrier issue. I cannot call or text, so it is not just iMessage. Like I said, Verizon claimed it be their problem and said they would help me, I’m just trying to see if anyone else has had this issue & how they fixed it before I have to switch to another provider to be able to call my parents if I ever need them.
