screen timeout, no notification

After my screen times out, I don't get a notification ringtone. when it's in sleep mode, I don't know if I'm getting a text message or a missed call sound. i have to wake up the phone and look at the top for text messages i received during the night. all my other phones I could get a ringtone every minute to notify me of a text or missed call.

Unfortunately there is not a setting on the phone that allows you to set how often you would like your notifications to alert you. The only way for the indicator to stay on would be by disabling the timeout screen. Keep in mind that this will drain the battery. Hope this helps!

I had this same question earlier. A young lady at verizon sent this to me and it did work... I did what she told me, about two hours ago and I have gotten every call or text since. I hope this helps solve your issue, because it worked for me.

Are you sure you have your notifications set up properly? If not, here's how to do so, Go into the messaging app, click on settings, and under notifications check vibrate or check it to ring only. This will notify you if you ever get a text message while the device is in sleep mode. Hope this helps!
