I want to connect my TV to the internet - to watch Netflix and such. I've gone round and round and can't find the answer, which I'm sure is really simple. How do I connect my HD Sony TV to be able to do this? I don't have a DVR....can anyone help?
I will speak in General Terms since I'm not familiar with the Sony TV product.
If the TV is Internet capable then you can connect the TV to the Internet in two ways:
1. On the back of the TV you will need to see if there is a port for an Ethernet/Internet Connection. You would then have to connect a wire from the VZ provided Router into the back of the TV.
2. If the wired option is not aviable and your TV is Internet Ready then you can see if the TV will accept a Wireless LAN USB Adapter. Once you make this connection you will then need to configure the TV to speak to your wireless LAN router.
Do you know if your TV is internet Ready? Which model TV do you have? When did you purchase it?
