Need to boost / enhance weak WiFi signal

I have Verizon FiOS - specifically, the Westell model no. A90-9100EM15-10 router for my home. My single story home is spread out over 3400 sq ft. Once I move halfway across my house I lose quite a bit of the wifi strength. When I am at the opposite end of the house the signal is pretty much non-existent.

Question - is there a cost effective booster / range enhancer on the market that is compatible with the Westell A90-9100EM15-10?

I see tons of boosters / range enhancer advertised, but the question is which unit(s) will work with the router that Verizon provided me?

Good question depending on how you would like to go about this their are many options you can choose from this would also vary if you woul like to run cables threw out your house or not , lets start of with the assumestion that you would like to run a cat 5 (internet wire in your home connecting to your main (modem/gateway or router) what you would do is using a spare cat 5 cable plug i one side into one of the four open ports of your router then run it to the locastion of about were you have the dead spots and connect another router such as a netgear or linksys i would recommend this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122378 (NETGEAR WNDR3400-100NAS ). Now if you are looking to do this alot simpler without running wires you can simply use a powered repeater something like this HAWKING HAWNR1 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833164044 i have one of this personally and i love it. How this works is you put this device in a area almost near the dead spot but still in reach of your router and plug the power in then you would connect to the settigns via your computer were you can choose your existing router to e used and what this will do is repeat your existing router signal to the rest of your house including the dead spots you would choose a seconedry network name that you can use to connect your computers example :.. my_exteneded_wireless network" or something of that nature this is most likely your best option and more cost effective if you have any questions or need some clarity please feel free to ask .
