Email attachments not working

Ever since I received the 2.2 update I have not been able to open email attachments, I am using AOL. When I try to open them it goes back to the original email.  Any suggestions?

Please follow the steps below to view email messages with an attachment.

1. From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located in the lower-left).
2. Touch Mail
3. Touch Menu
4. Touch More
5. Touch account list
6. Touch the email account
7. Touch the email message
8. View the selected message
9. If the email message has an attachment (e.g. jpg, gif, bmp, etc.) touch View Attachment.
   An installed application is required to download or preview some attachment types.
10. Touch the download symbol.
11. Touch the attachment symbol.
12. Touch the attachment option.

• Save to phone storage -Saves the attachment to the phone.
• Save to SD card -Saves the attachment to the SD card.
• Open -Previews the attachment within the viewed email.

Check to make sure you have an application installed from the market place to download the attachment.
