I have been experiencing issues on my droid x such as moderate to extreme lag (every once in a while). it's not all the time that it's laggy though. and i only have the preloaded apps that came with it, and about 20 apps that i downloaded from the android market, all of which are mostly from trusted developers. apps like facebook, aim, pandora, etc.
also, another major concern for me is that whenever im not on the phone my coverage remains at a high 3-4 bars. whenever i make or receive a call, it drops anywhere from 0-2 bars, and sometimes it doesn't make a difference in the call quality (as far as i can notice), but a majority of the time i notice call quality issues. stuff such as the other person on the line says my voice gets choppy, or it cuts out words i say, or im very quiet out of nowhere.
I checked the signal strength on my phone, and compared it to whenever im on a call, and when im not on a call. theres no difference in dBm signal strength, it remains anywhere from -89 to -102. my best guess for an average, would probably have to be -97. i spoke with a verizon rep about my signal strength and told her about the problems i was having, she said a normal phones dBm strength should be anywhere from -69 to -89.
Does this mean i have a faulty phone?
