HTC Droid Incredible Weather App NOT INCREDIBLE

While there is neat stuff to look at on the factory weather app on the Droid Incredible... like snow falling, clouds going by etc.. the actual app pretty much stinks. In fact, in my state of Montana... there is only one city that is listed... Great Falls... I live over 100 miles from Great Falls and there are cities that are as big or bigger in this state... but, when I try to type in a city name like Billings for instance. I get a message saying City Not Found !...... I'm not impressed ! Weather Bug works better, has way more cities to choose from and often has multiple weather stations available for any given city or town input..... Looks wise, I like the HTC application but when it only gets a city 100 miles away, it's not much use. Anyone have an idea how to upgrade the factory weather app.. if it's even possible?

The HTC app uses the Cell tower location to give the weather info. I am suprised you do not get anything  different on your screen. I know there are tons of cities not listed that you can personally choose, but if the widget is set to use your location, you should be getting info from places other than Great Falls

 

GPS needs to be on, however that does not kill a battery, unless constantly used. You would see the satellite dish with the green lines in the notification bar if in use. 

 

I have seen townships and even more obscure locations listed.
