Is there a way to change the voice for Google Navigation?

Just a dumb question but is there a way to change the voice for navigation?  Not just speed up or slow down the speech.  I find the stock voice annoying as hell.  Any input would be appreciated.

Not at this time.

It is a text to speech voice, so they will need to update their engine to privide a different tone.

Verizon navigation has 7 (last time I checked) different voices for use, but it is 10 dollars a month.
