I've downloaded a custom ringtone from Mobil 17, but can't figure out how to attach it to a contact as a ringtone. Mobil 17 is a great site BTW to customize music for ringtones/wallpaper etc.
Go to the contact > hit Menu and choose Edit > go to the bottom of the list and select the arrow next to Additional Information > go to the bottom of the new options that get added to the list and you'll see a heading for call options and ringtone settings are in there.

Thanks, but that process shows the ringtones that come with the phone. I have created a ringtone that was sent via a text message. It was easy to add with my last Motorola sway phone, but I can't figure out this Droid one. How do I attach the ringtone that was sent via a text message?
Mobil 17 sends a text message. After I just loaded it as music, I could select add as ringtone. So I'm good for now.
I downloaded Ringroid from the App Store and it's pretty sick. Just type in the song you want as a ringtone and then you can then zone in on the part of the song you want to use as your ringtone, very easily and quickly. Works really well!!
