SD memory card

Hi all.

I am not new to BB. However I have not figured this out yet and am hoping someone knows how to do this. What I am trying to do is transfer all my information from one memory card to another without computer access. i have the BlackBerry Storm 2 and am trying to upgrade from an 8 mb to a 16 mb card. Any ideas would be great..

Hi,

There is no way that I could find to transfer the data between cards in the way you describe. Also, did you mean to state you have an 8 and 16 Gb card, instead of mb card?

I meant Gigabyte. Does the size or correct gramer of the card actually matter in solving the issue?

Hi,

No, not really. You will need a computer to transfer the data. You will need to copy the files from the old card to the PC and then from the PC to the new card. Hope this helps.

I did the same thing. Go to a Verizon Company owned store with Tech support. They can do the info swap from the 8GB card to the 16GB card. Took about 5 min. If you don't know if they have Tech on duty call ahead and ask.
