deleting games that came with the phone

While trying to delete the race game that came on my Droid X a message appeared thanking me for purchasing. I had to start (load) the game before the uninstall feature would activate and had no intension to buy. I immediately uninstalled it. How can I find out if I was charged for the purchase without waiting for the bill?

If its a app that is on market, you can open market app and click left menu button and MyApps, if the app is bought it would be on this list, Also there is normally 2 steps to buy a app... One is the windows saying that you are going to by it and then there is a verification screen to be sure this is what you wanted, if you didnt do both these then you most likely didnt buy the app.

Also just for the record the preinstalled apps can not be uninstalled from the device.

As you stated, you are referring to the race app that came pre installed on phone and nothing about the market.

That app CAN be uninstalled.

Your best bet at this point is to call a representative and have them check if you were charged. Otherwise if you wait for the bill you may have a harder time trying to get the charge taken off.

If the user did not go to the Marketplace to purchase the app they won't be charged for it.

Ok so I am not loosing it :smileyhappy: and I didnt think any of the preinstalled apps can be uninstalled without voiding the warrenty.. I bought NFS game so I didnt check to see if it is uninstallable before I activated..
