Unlimited Text Messages?

My texting package is 500 + Unlimited Mobile to Mobile/month. That doesn't make sense to me. How is it unlimited, between the friends and family list? Or between other Verizon customers?

The text message package that you have includes unlimited mobile to mobile meaning to Verizon Wireless customers only, no one on your friends and family list is included.

It means you have unlimited text messages between you and other Verizon Wireless customers, and 500 text messages (sent or received) from any other carrier. Your Friends and Family list is only for VOICE calls, not text messages.
