Incredible and Calendar NEED HELP

I'm new to droid incredible. I have searched and searched for the answer....please help me...

When I go in to calendar the only calendar option I have is pc sync. I want google calendar. I have no idea how to get google calendar added. Is there something I need to download, etc? Trying not to get frustrated but all I can find in the manual and online is how to sync multiple calendars. Please please PLEASE help if you know the answer!

Your phone is set up by default to automatically sync with your Google account, if you have set one up already. To set up a Google account, press Menu on the Home screen, and then tap Settings> Accounts & sync> choose Add Account> Select Googleand then tap Next> follow the onscreen instructions to enter the account information. If you don’t want to synchronize automatically, press Menuon the Home screen, and then tap Settings> Accounts & syncand then uncheck Background dataand Auto-sync. Once you have completed the setup of a Gmail account, you will then be able to select to sync your Google calendar events with your device.
