A couple of issues

First off I want to say I love my Droid X. I have a couple of issues, hoping someone has the answers to. Sometimes when I remove the Droid X from the multimedia desktop charger I lose the shortcuts and clock that I have on the home page. The 3 Icons are all that remain. I find I need to power off then on to get them back. The second issue is, I don't receive a notification in the top bar when I get a new gmail e-mail. Is there a way to set this?

I don't have the multimedia desktop charger so I can't help you with that one. As to the email problem, open gmail on your phone, go to menu, click settings, click on email notifications. Thats it.

Thanks gator1. However I should have mentioned that I do have e-mail notifications checked. My text messages and missed calls etc notifications are working except for gmail.
