KIN2 No videos will play on browser

I can't get any videos on youtube or facebook to play....it says the phone can't play video, but it has before! anyone know how to fix this??

Try pulling the battery and restarting your phone.

I am having the exact same problem. I tried pulling the battery but youtube videos still don't work. Being able to play youtube videos over wifi was one of the reasons I bought this phone. :smileymad:

I have provided some information below that may help.

Step 1 - Clear the browsers temporary files, cookies, and history. I have included the step below:

-From the home screen select settings

-Select browser

-Under browser settings select the following

-Delete temporary files

-Delete cookies

-Delete history

Step 2 – Set Allow Cookies to ON.

Step 3 – Set Javascript to ON.

Step 4 – Power cycle the device.

Step 5 – Retest the browser.

this is a common proble with the software on the phone. my opinion is that its a glitch in the broswer or the 'player' that videos play in. This is a major problem and usually corrects its self by either turning off the phone, play one video and turn off the phone again. How could they release a phone with such broken software? thats beyond me, but turning off the phone and turning it back on seems to be a temporary fix (but sometimes it still doesnt help)
