Nope don't got the Eris. I have the G1 by T-mobile. I have read many articles saying 2.2 won't becoming to G1. I am disappointed, but am looking forward to do an upgrade in the holiday season. With the new toy phone it should come with 2.2 or even another update from 2.2.
I am a female by the way I do want a new phone, but at the same time I LOVE my G1. We are so attached to each other. Like I said I'll wait until my upgrade comes. I'll have plenty of phones to choose from
