Aircard vs. MiFi Connection Speed

Is there any difference between the connection speed of a wireless aircard and a MiFi device?  I currently have the USB760 wireless modem and I get terrible service from home.  Somebody suggested switching to MiFi, and I am wondering if it will make any difference (other than being able to connect multiple devices to the hotspot).

No there is not a difference in the speed of the two. Make sure you update your PRL(preferred roaming list) on the device by going to your VZ Access manager choosing options and clicking on activation it will then automatically start the updating of your software and you may see better speed due the update may have not been completed in a while on the device.
