My Latitude has been showing my at a location over 50 miles from where I am at. Is there a way to fix this?
I have went out and traveled and the GPS maps show me right on spot BUT when I return home it shows me in a different town and its about 50 miles away. This app used to show me in the right place. Does anyone know what would cause this.
Try downloading GPS status from the market, you can download updated aGPS data, which may give you a more accurate, faster GPS fix.
If it's only happening in your house it's because you are dropping the Sat connections and the phone is relying solely on aGPS which gets your location from Cell tower triangulation. If you are only pulling 1 or 2 towers your triangulation could be WAY off.
crb79 is correct aGPS isnt the most reliable locationing settings, if you lose actual gps lock your location can jump randomly depending on the towers you are closes to, try stepping outside and make sure GPS is activate and see what you get because mine is right on the money with my location.
