HD VIDEO RECORDING

does anyone have any problems finding the videos in the memory card or in the phone storage after recording them? i can only seem to get to it from the phones video player. i used Astro file manager and not even that can find it! took the memory card out and tried it in my computer and nothing? whats funny is that my TV CAN find it, but it just doesnt play the audio bc it doesnt support the codec. doesnt show up as hidden files, either. im guessing it has to be related to the froyo update. i got it less than a week ago.

if anyone knows how to fix it, let me know..

On my SD card I have a folder called "my_flix." It shows all my videos there. I can't be sure that my most recent ones are there though, since it doesn't show the thumbnail pic of it and has no rhyme or reason as to how it lists them. I have 140 vids so the only way to be sure is to count the files in that folder I guess?

did you look in the ( dcim/ 100 media) ?

My pics from today are in that folder, but not the video? I'm starting to wonder? The vids are in the gallery so they have to be somewhere on the card.....but why not with the rest of the the pics and vids? Just shot a clip today and a few more since 2.2 that are not in the same folder as the older ones?

Ahhhhh.....found it. Open the gallery and go to your videos. Long press the clip you are looking for and touch "details." It will give you the last path of the directory. I use qik and mine are in that dcim folder under "camera." I guess when I use qik it saves it to a different spot because the older pics and vids are in that dcim/media folder.

Yea mine go directly into the dcim/ 100 media. When I record a 720d video in MP4 format it saves on my sd card as a 3GP file are you having the same issue?
