you can. however, it needs to be plugged in via the usb cord AND you have to have the tethering service (i think it is $20-$30/month).

The answer is yes, however you have to have the new Verizon CD that has the droid's software on it. There is a $5 difference in price if you are currently have the 5GB plan on the laptop card. So it will still cost you an extra $55 for the 5GB access on the internet thru the HTC phone. Also when using the HTC it uses the phone as a modem, so you wont be able to use the phone for calls
