Streaming TV/ESPN?

So this thing is supposed to pretty much be a mini computer in my pocket. Is there anything that would prohibit a phone like this from streaming TV?

To cut to the chase, I love Ohio State football but live in Massachusetts and find myself working or otherwise occupied during Saturday afternoons at which time I would normally be watching the OSU game. There is currently no streaming ESPN app, or from what I could find anything similar. This seems like a no-brainer to me to offer your programming to mobile phone users and even at some sort of modest fee I would be more than willing.

For example, MLB At-Bat can stream live games on the iPhone, but not on the Incredible. Anybody know why? It's cool that I can listen (similar with ESPN radio), but I want to watch the game. Is this just because nobody has thought to create an app to stream sporting events? Or do you think the networks would not allow it? Or do you think Verizon's fat fingers are getting in the way?

You could try justin.tv on the browser. I used it on my Omnia to watch PPV.

There is also a justin.tv app.

here's the deal. if you want full blown tv programming on your phone then you need to get a slingbox and the slinbox app. you'll have to drop some decent $ (i believe you can get the box for $15-200 and the app is $30). however, it gives you full control over your tv at home from your incredible. you can change chennales or whatever you can do at home....but from your phone. the slingbox send whatever is on your tv at home directly to your phone. it's the most expensive, but the best way to get tv on your phone. other than that, you are at the mercy of app developers and the networks. take, for example, the nfl network. there was a free nfl network app (still is) that used to just show exactly what was on the channel at that time. however, they changed that as of sep 1 to make the app go blackout actual games that the network carries. now they make you pay a fee and subscribe to vcast in order to get their games. justintv has an app or usstream has a site that streams live events. it's just hit or miss as to what you can get and how stable the viewing experience will be. slingbox is a sure thing. with it, if you can get it on your tv, then you can watch it on your phone.
