Currently using an iphone, AT&T coverage is horrible (let alone other issues)! Considering the X but need confirmed answers in finding a device that performs a couple functions the iPhone can't.
1. When the X is interfaced with a pc via usb, using Explorer or Mac's Finder, can the X be viewed as a device in which a folder can be created?
2. If so, can a file be transfered to this folder?
In a nutshell, I download a data file from a piece of test equipment onto a notebook and I need to email that file. I'm hoping to be able to transfer that data file to a mobile device and attach the file to an email.
Or for that matter, can the X easily be used to tether my notebook to access the internet? The iPhone does not support this.
They say there's an app available for the iPhone but will only work if within a Wifi hotspot. But still unknown if the file dropped into the folder can be attached to an email.
3. Can attached emailed .wmv files be viewed on the X? iPhone does not allow this, says it's an unsupported video file.
Thanks in advance!
