Notification message / facebook

I keep getting a notification message that my facebook authentication has failed. I have unconnected to facebook (forced) and I still get failed message. If I clear notification, it returns seconds later. If I reconnect with facebook and am actually on it, I still have the failed notification icon....any ideas

Try clearing facebook cookies/cache on browser and change facebook password to see if will reset facebook application.
