I have a jawbone icon. I am having no luck gettin in coming notification alerts thru blue tooth. Does anyone have any suggestions. I can get tones for a incoming call, but I ws under the impression I would be able to hear phone ringtone.

Try to follow these steps to check what you have set up and/or to change the ringtone. 

open messaging> menu>text messaging>menu> message settings>check notifications> then choose the ringtone.
