Lag when using text app.

What is causing this. Why is it that everything starts off snappy and quick but slows to a crawl? I've factory reset twice now in the last week. It's not the apps I only have added Verizon Mobile, Maps update and quadrant standard since the reset.

Deleted my social media accounts also. I don't get it, I see the reset as a band aid. I need a legit fix. My wife's LG Ally has a quicker response when starting the text app than my X. It's embarassing.

I have installed Launcher Pro and Advance Task Manager and my device has been running smooth and fast every since. I have noticed the the system stock interface is sometimes sluggish and besides nothing compares to Launcher Pro in my opinon... Also, spite other beliefs.. I feel Advance Task Manger is a needed application because it makes no since to have a large amount of applications running in background when they are not being used.. Apps only take a few seconds to start up after completely closed and if you cant wait that long then something is wrong. Give them a try, Advance Task Killer and Launcher Pro can be downloaded from the Market.

I had Task manager before the first reset, it made no difference with or without it. I'll give Launcher Pro a shot to see if it's any better. Not really holding my breath though after 2 resets in a week.
